Job Announcements can be placed with SAA using one of three
methods:
SAAweb only
Job announcements on SAAweb can be placed for an
initial 30-day web posting with an option to
extend in 90 day increments at a reduced rate.
Announcements can be posted at any time by
contacting Manager, Membership and Marketing
using the contact information at the bottom of
this page. Announcements will stay on the web
for the entire initial 30-day period. If the
position has become filled, contact the SAA
office and the announcement will be grayed out
with a note denoting that position has been
filled and applications are no longer being
accepted.

The SAA Archaeological Record only
The SAA Archaeological Record includes
information about society business as well as
commentary and news on the conduct of
archaeology in the Americas, reviews of computer
software, schedules of forthcoming meetings,
letters to the editor, and job announcement
listings. Text of the announcement can be
e-mailed, faxed, or mailed to the SAA office.
Deadlines for receipt of job announcements for
each issue are as follows:

Please include billing information with each
announcement. Invoices will be sent for each
announcement, along with a copy of the issue,
once the issue has been published.

The SAA Archaeological Record and
SAAweb combination
Job announcements can be placed in both The
SAA Archaeological Record and on SAAweb in a
package combination. A job announcement can be
placed immediately on SAAweb for a period of 30
days and in the next available issue of The
SAA Archaeological Record. If the 30 day
web period expires before the next available
issue of The SAA Archaeological Record,
additional web time may be purchased at a
reduced rate. Please include billing
information with each announcement. Invoices
for The SAA Archaeological Record and
SAAweb combination ads will be sent for each
announcement, along with a copy of the issue in
which the announcement appears, once the issue
has been published.

When composing your job announcement, be sure
to include:
Name, address, and phone number
of a contact person for each
position listed
Position title and job location
Closing date for consideration
of applicants
A mailing address where the
invoice will be sent OR credit
card information
