SAA Ethics Bowl Cases

Each year, the Ethics Bowl organizers compile hypothetical cases that describe archaeological dilemmas. These cases are used in the debate-style competition of the SAA Ethics Bowl to explore the ethics of archaeological practice. We encourage you to include the Ethics Bowl cases as integral parts of your archaeology courses or activities. Case studies from previous years make wonderful tools for teaching or materials for team practice sessions in preparation for the actual Ethics Bowl!
