3.0 Style Guide

The specifications given here codify current style guidelines for both American Antiquity and Latin American Antiquity and supersede all previous style guides. Authors are, therefore, urged to consult this guide carefully; additional details can be found in the references listed in section 3.11 below. In cases of conflict between this style guide and other sources, the instructions given here are to be followed.

Stylistic considerations for manuscripts prepared in Spanish are essentially the same as those presented here, with substitution of Spanish terms for those used in English, e.g., "Figura" for "Figure," "editado por" for "edited by," "Tabla" for "Table," "REFERENCIAS CITADOS" for "REFERENCES CITED," etc.
