Below is a beginning list of sources that, like the March 2011 issue of The SAA Archaeological Record, present archaeologists writing or (in the case of the audio and video interviews, talking) about and reflecting on their careers in their own words.

This list is by no means exhaustive, but taken together, these resources can provide information to the neophyte, inspiration to the seasoned veteran, and a perspective to anyone seeking a better understanding of what makes an archaeologist an archaeologist.
