Committee Interest Form

SAA currently has more than 30 committees and task forces engaged in the work of the Society. These committees generate ideas, guide action plans, develop recommendations for review by the Board of Directors, and collectively move the Society forward. The committees and task forces are fueled by the 400+ volunteers who serve on them. Committee membership rotates so that each year most though not all committees are seeking to fill a few slots for those members whose three-year term has expired. Task force memberships tend to be static for the life of the task force, but occasionally new members are sought. If you are interested in contributing to and influencing the Society by committee service, please complete this form and return it to SAA headquarters. Please note: You may sign up at any time, but appointments are made in early spring. New committee terms start at the Annual Meeting. The Annual Business Meeting marks the close of one committee year and the beginning of the next.
